2. Hot water 700g

1. Coconut cream 1,000g
2. Water 400g
3. Granulated sugar 250g
4. Salt 10g
Methods for making Bua Loy
1. Mix flour and hot water in a bowl and knead until soft and sticky. If you prefer Bua Loy in different colors, divide the dough equally into different portions and add different colors to each portion. Knead to combine.
2. Roll the dough into small balls. Sprinkle with additional flour to prevent from sticking your hands.
3. Add water to a pot and bring to a boil, then gradually drop the Bua Loy balls into the water until cooked (Bua Loy will float up when cooked). Remove from the water and soak in cold water to rest.
Methods for making coconut milk syrup
1. Add coconut cream and water into a pot. Bring to a boil, then low the heat and add sugar and salt. Simmer for 2 minutes. Then, add Bua Loy and simmer for another 2 minutes (on low heat) to soak up the sweetness of coconut milk syrup. Turn off the heat and ready to serve.
