Grinning fried banana
Ingredients
· Fried banana mix flour, Jade Leaf brand 1,000g
· Ice cold water 500g
· Shredded coconut 750g
· White sesame 100g
· Cultivated banana, half-ripe (cut length wide)
· Oil for frying
Methods
1. Mix flour, water and shredded coconut. Knead until combine, then pour white sesame to mix in.
2. Heat oil to 170C. Dip banana slices into the batter above and drop in the oil to fry (be sure banana slices are submerged in the oil). Fry on high heat until golden and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain. Ready to serve.
